A popular landmark that is not to be missed in Phuket is the Heroine’s Monument. It commemorates the two brave women who led the battle against Burmese intruders. Their memory lives on two centuries later. You can find the statue of Lady Chan and Lady Mook on Thepkasattri Road in Thalang. Locals that come and visit the area for the first time sometimes stop by this shrine to pay their respects and send their gratitude to these two heroines.

Siam Niramit

Thailand has a rich cultural heritage, this is very well known. Experience it and watch one of the largest stage productions in the world. Siam Niramit shows spectators the colorful past through an incredibly spectacular stage performances that feature some amazing special effects. Wat Chalong

Phuket is full of temples but only a few that are truly worth seeing. People come from far away to see its ornate architectural style and beautiful wall paintings. They are truly spectacular. It is also a great place for learning more about Buddhism and witnessing how the locals visit the temple.

Big Buddha Statue

The most famous landmark of Phuket, the one that many businesses, restaurants and points of interest note their distance to is the Big Buddha statue. It sits on top of Nakkerd Hills as if surveying its surroundings. Located between Chalong and Kata. This iconic monument is made of concrete and marble and stands around forty five metres tall. It can be seen from very far away, which makes it such an important and popular way finding attraction. The statue’s high top location is also a great viewpoint for spectacular views of the island.
