Their memory lives on two centuries later. You can find the statue of Lady Chan and Lady Mook on Thepkasattri Road in Thalang. Big Buddha Statue
The most famous landmark of Phuket, the one that many businesses, restaurants and points of interest note their distance to is the Big Buddha statue. It sits on top of Nakkerd Hills as if surveying its surroundings. Located between Chalong and Kata. This iconic monument is made of concrete and marble and stands around forty five metres tall. It can be seen from very far away, which makes it such an important and popular way finding attraction. The statue’s high top location is also a great viewpoint for spectacular views of the island.
